My story

I am a printmaker, plant ecologist, and Northern Appalachian culture bearer.

I aim to ground my work in a deep and reciprocal connection with the land. My passion is sharing practices such as printmaking and brain tanning buckskin, both as a teacher and an independent artist.

The nickname “Squirrel” caught on when I was little and has stuck around amongst my loved ones ever since. Like the squirrel, my life’s work is to be a student of nature. My oldest teachers, the plants, have taught me to work seasonally and with intention.

Currently, I hold classes and workshops, exhibit my art in local spaces, and write about my experiences. I am based in Pennsylvania but love traveling to connect with plants and people everywhere.
