The nickname “Squirrel” caught on when I was little and has stuck around in my family ever since. It may have been that tattered pink sweatshirt embroidered with a familiar bushy-tailed creature, or my habit of playing hooky to run around in the woods.
Today, I honor my nickname-sake with artwork that reflects a deep connection with and reliance on nature. Though Pennsylvania is my home, I am always open to exploring new places. My goals as a printmaker are to draw ever deeper from myself and my relationships to create pieces that connect with something in each of us.
