We are all connected. I created this print as a snapshot of just some of the relationships between myself, the viewer, and many of our familiar relatives here in northern Appalachia. The mighty hemlock shades the understory and cools the streams, providing habitat for the eastern Newt and brook trout. Trout feed our belted kingfishers. Hemlock reishi helps return nutrients from dead trees to the soil, from which great white trilliums grow.
