Having grown up fishing and playing in our local streams, I have always felt a deep connection to trout. Every Pennsylvania flyfisher I know holds a strong respect for brook trout as a symbol of our native species’ beauty. Admiring this feeder of both bellies and souls, you can’t miss the distinctive red and blue spots, which is why I chose to highlight them in acrylic for this piece.
